Have I mentioned that I am a Type 9? I toyed with Type 2 and Type 6 along the way, however, when I read the Core Motivations for a Type 9, I thought “Has somebody been reading my mail, or more like my journals?” The awareness that can come along with discovering your Type is truly uncanny!
If you are here, you’re probably familiar or curious about the Enneagram, or at least know it’s a personality tool. Maybe you’ve seen this unusual symbol and thought “What’s all the fuss about?” Maybe you noticed it looks like a compass, or maybe it takes you back to 9th grade geometry class with all the lines and angles (don’t panic, there isn’t a pop quiz!).
Journaling is a practice that is known to improve overall emotional well being. It is a gift to your soul to decompress, pull out your pen, and cultivate journaling as a consistent habit. As you sit down and write, it helps you look at life through an objective lens, name your feelings, and engage your inner world with curiosity versus judgement.
